Indian Airforce Group Y/ Medical Assistant Airmen Intake Medical Assistant Trade : Candidates who have passed 10+2 / Intermediate or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, or completed a two-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) with the same minimum marks from a recognized board, are eligible for this recruitment. Medical Assistant Trade (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy) : Candidates must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, and also possess a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% aggregate marks along with valid registration from the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

Indian Airforce Group Y/ Medical Assistant Airmen Intake Recruitment : Medical Standard / PFT

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) : For candidates up to the age of 21 Years 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 minutes. For candidates above 21 years of age and holding Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy – 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 minutes 30 Seconds. Height : Minimum 152.5 cms Cycling – Should be well proportioned and well developed with the minimum range of expansion of 5 cms. Hearing : Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately. Weight : Proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF. Dental : Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points. Visual Standards : 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/9 each eye; Maximum limits of Refractive Error Not exceeding + 3.50D including Astigmatism.
