The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an official Addendum for the Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)/Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) 2025 conducted for the Central Secretariat Clerical Service (CSCS) Cadre of the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT).

According to the addendum dated 13 July 2026, the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) has granted a one-time relaxation of one year in regular qualifying service to eligible Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) employees up to Select List Year (SLY)-2020.

In view of this relaxation, SSC has extended the last date for submission of online applications from 16 July 2026 to 20 July 2026 (11:00 PM). The deadlines for receipt of printed applications have also been revised. All other eligibility conditions, examination pattern, and instructions mentioned in the original notification dated 25 June 2026 remain unchanged. Eligible departmental candidates should complete the online application before the revised deadline and submit the printed application through the prescribed departmental channel.
