Short Information : Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) invited online applications for Bihar B.Ed. Combined Entrance Test (CET-B.Ed.) 2025 for admission to the 2-Year B.Ed. and Shiksha Shastri programmes. Eligible candidates could apply online, appear in the entrance examination and participate in the counselling process for admission to participating universities across Bihar.
Exam Name Education Qualification
  Bihar CET B.Ed To be eligible for the B.Ed. Programme, candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields like Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce. Those with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology, specializing in Science or Mathematics, must have a minimum of 55% marks. Equivalent qualifications are also accepted. For the Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed. in Sanskrit) course, candidates must have 50% marks in a Bachelor’s degree with Sanskrit as the main subject and a Master’s degree in Sanskrit or Acharya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra. Alternatively, those who have passed Shastri (B.A. including Sanskrit) with 50% marks and have completed a 2-year Acharya (MA Sanskrit) course must also pass a Bridge Course. However, marks from the first year of Acharya/MA will not be considered in the final percentage calculation.

Photo A passport-sized color photograph (scanned). The background should be white or light-colored.
Signature Scanned signature on a white background. Should be done using a black or blue pen.

Caste Certificate For candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC), a valid caste certificate.
Domicile Certificate For candidates applying under Rajasthan state domicile.
Income Certificate For candidates applying under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category.
Category Certificate For special categories (PWD, Ex-servicemen, etc.), relevant supporting documents.
Aadhaar Card For Id Proof Aadhaar card, voter ID, or any other government-issued ID for identity verification.
Other Relevant Documents Any other document mentioned in the REET official notification specific to the candidate’s category or qualification.
